ALBERT CHARLES BEAUDRY After a short battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones, Albert passed away at the Lakeshore General Hospital in Ashern, MB. Albert was born July 28, 1918 in Carman, MB, and moved with his parents to Ashern at a very early age. In 1942 he married Calleen McKay and they moved to Spearhill, MB. There he worked for Winnipeg Supply & Fuel for 24 years. He retired due to ill health and in 1966, moved his family to Ashern, MB. Throughout his life, he took great joy in participating and watching sports. He enjoyed playing cards, his favourite game being cribbage. His other hobbies were farming, gardening and knitting. He leaves to mourn his passing, six children, Alberta, Lawrence, Wayne (Barb), Rennae, Sherri (Darrell), and Randy; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Margaret, Mabel, Aleida (John), Velma, and Evelyn (Gibbie), and one brother William (Eileen). He was predeceased by his wife Calleen in 1996; his parents, William and Annie; brothers, Henry, Clifford, George; and grandson Darwin. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Monday, February 11, at 2:00 p.m. in the Ashern Gospel Chapel with Pastor Ivor Grant officiating. Interment to take place at a later date in the Ashern Municipal Cemetery. It was Dads wishes that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ashern Gospel Chapel, c/o Marion Russell, Box 141, Ashern, MB, R0C 0E0. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Lakeshore General Hospital, the homecare workers and staff, and a special thank you to Pastor Ivor Grant. "Rest in Peace."
