GERHARD G. SCHROEDER Gerhard G. Schroeder aged 91 years of Altona, MB and formerly of Blumenort, MB passed away at the Altona Hospital on February 8, 2002. He will be sadly missed by his wife Marie; sons, Jake (Mary), John (Lorna), Vern (Hedy), Erwin (Ruth) daughters, Margaret Suderman, Katie (Henry) Wieler, MaryAnne (Gary) Swan, Elizabeth (Paul) Kobak, Ruth (Al) Ens, Lydia (Bill) Iveson; daughter-in-law Valdine; 23 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and seven step-children and their families. Gerhard G. Schroeder was predeceased by his first wife Katharina (Tina) in 1982 and his son George Schroeder in 1985. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 12 at 2:00 p.m.from the Blumenort Mennonite Church in Rosetown, MB west of Gretna, MB with interment to follow in the Blumenort Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Monday, February 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona in Altona, MB also at the church prior to the service. In memory of Gerhard G.
