Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID JOHN LINDELL Suddenly, Saturday, February 9, 2002, while attending an old-time dance at Eriksdale. David was born March 28, 1936 t at Eriksdale Hospital; attended school at Hartfield and Eriksdale; worked for Griffith Brothers Diamond Drilling; attained his pilots license; worked in Northern Ontario; worked for Western Aero Enginse,e hen for Standard Aero where he has been employed since 1970. David married Patricia Hanslip in 1972. From the day that their two precious children, Curti and Ambr were born, David demonstrated his love to them daily through his unending faithfulness, generosity, kindness, compassion and wonderful sense of humour. He is survived by his beloved daughter Amber and her mother Pat; mother Lucy; sisters, Elaine, Shirley (Rick) brother Garry (Sandra) sisters-in-law Anne (Arnold), Ruby (Glen), Laura (Bud), Edith (Sam), Eleanor, Barb; brothers-in-law Jim (Gloria), Bill (Florence), Gordon and numerous other relatives. He was predeceased by his beloved son Curtis; father Art; brothers-in-law Bruce, Russell, Doug; sister-in-law Doreen. David lived life to the fullest, enjoying good food, good music, good fishing, good ehunting and a good dance with his family and friends. Viewing will be held at the chapel prior to the service on Friday. A funeral service will be held at the MacKnzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall, Friday, February 15 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Bill Watson will officiate with interment to follow at the Eriksdale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ken Lindell, Leonard Heroux, Bill Rhynebend, Daryl Andrews, Bill Gibson, Ray Russell. Honorary pallbearers will be Jennifer Oduca, Albert (Bud) Andrews, Ted Langlois, Alex Ozirney, Thor Sigurdson, Sandy Bruce, Harry Bruce, Lou St. Mars. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Winnipeg Chapter, Box 21008, 33 - 3900 Grant Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3R 3R2.
