Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARTHUR E. CUTTS On February 11, 2002, at the Golden Door Nursing Home, Arthur Cutts, husband of Mary Cutts, passed away. He is survived by his wife Mary; three sons, Ray (Joy) of Victoria, BC, Brian (Valerie) and Gerry (Wendy) of Winnipeg; six grandchildren, Cherraine (Andrew), Charlton, Amber (Duane), Victoria, Corey and Paul; three great-grandchildren, Azura, Brandon and Maxwell; sisters, Dolly Verbeck and Betty Gryte; sister-in-law Phyllis Marcoux. Arthur was born September 22, 1916 in Beulah, MB and in the early 1920s moved into Winnipeg with his family, where he lived his early years. He enlisted in the Army on September 5, 1939 serving with the Royal Canadian Engineers until his discharge on August 11, 1945. During his service overseas he met his wife Mary, the love of his life for 59 years. Returning to Winnipeg, Arthur built his home in Fort Rouge on Rathgar Avenue where he and Mary resided until 1999. Arthur was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion, Fort Garry Branch #90. He was employed by the C.N.R. for most of his working life and retired in 1981. Arthur enjoyed woodworking and yard work but most of all he enjoyed his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 15 at 10:00 a.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy #1 East at Green Acres Lane. Interment will take place at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined. Should friends so desire, donations may be made in Arthurs memory to the Alzheimer Society of MB, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
