ARTHUR W. HIGGINS Arthur Higgins passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 12, 2002 at Grace Hospital at the age of 80. He leaves behind two loving daughters, Karen Kinnis (Jack), Sandy Sarginson (Wayne) four grandchildren, Jennifer, Amy, Tanya and Stephanie; sister Laura Imre and brothers, David, Donald and Allan; his nephew Charlie (Bob) Stevens and many family and friends. He was predeceased by sister Melissa (Roy) brothers, Eric, Ken and Bert. Arthur was born in Darwin, MB on February 22, 1921. He served in the Armed Forces in England during the Second World War. Arthur was a familiar sight all around Winnipeg as owner/operator of Snap Delivery for over 50 years until his retirement at the age of 80. When not working he could often be found at Assiniboine Downs or enjoying a round of golf. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 16 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
