Change in Time of Service MARY ELIZABETH HENWOOD (nee BYIERS) Suddenly, on Thursday, February 14, 2002, at the age of 89, Mary passed away while visiting with her daughter in Ottawa. Predeceased by her loving husband Lorne; and son Brian; parents, Barbara and George Byiers; brother Peter Byiers; and sisters, Georgina Rothnie and Isabell Dunwoody. Mary is survived by her daughters, Marilyn (Garry Hall) of Markham, ON, and Lorraine (John Levesque) of Ottawa, ON; also survived by grandchildren, Kevin Henwood (Cheryl) of Falcon Lake, Keith Henwood (Shannon) of Winnipeg, Ronald and Cindy Hall of Markham, David Levesque (Jaci), and Brian Levesque of Ottawa; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Paige, Ryan, Cory and Thomas. She will also be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Mary was born in Winnipeg on July 14, 1912. She was employed for over 25 years with the CNIB and was Past Worthy Matron of Patricia Chapter No. 8, Order of the Eastern Star, and a Grand Representative to New Mexico. Mary was a friendly well loved person who overcame many difficulties and lived life to the fullest. She just recently returned from a visit to her daughter Marilyns residence in Florida where she spent a wonderful two weeks with her daughters and sons-in-law. She will be greatly missed by her family, close friends, and all who knew her. She will remain in our hearts forever. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 22 at 1:00 p.m., with viewing one hour prior, at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., entrance at Aubrey Street.
