JOYCE "JOY" McKAY (nee BURTON ) Peacefully, after a lengthy illness with Alzheimers, Joy McKay passed away on February 13, 2002 at West Park Manor at the age of 73 years. She is survived by her daughter Shelley, son Marc, daughter-in-law Kathy, three grandchildren, Collin, Allison, and Andrew; her mother Marion; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Joy was predeceased by her husband Ed, son Shawn, and father Aubrey. She grew up in Winnipeg, attended Daniel MacIntyre School, was very active in Christ the King Parish serving as President of the C.W.L. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, enjoyed wintering in Texas and visiting her grandchildren in Alberta. The family expresses sincere gratitude to the staff of West Park Manor for all the years of wonderful care. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 18 at 10:00 a.m. in the Christ the King Parish Church, 847 St. Marys Rd. The service will conclude at the church.
