Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAMELA JEAN CHAPLIN Peacefully on February 15, 2002 Pamela passed away at Beacon Hill Lodge. Pamela was predeceased by her life companion, Patricia Anderson of Winnipeg, and her mother, Ena Perry of England, who lovingly referred to Pam as Lu Lu. Pamela was born in Calcutta, India on January 8, 1931. She moved to England with her family as a small child. She was a happy child, particularly when in the company of her auntie Bea Da Luz and auntie Edith Hardinge. Pamela obtained a degree in Nursing in Northumberland, England. She moved to Canada in 1968, where she continued to nurse for a short time, after which she drove for Unicity Taxi for many years, then later retiring from Tache Nursing Home. Pamela enjoyed cats and children. She is fondly remembered by Patricias granddaughter, Kathy Brazil, as Coo-Coo. She will be sadly missed by her brothers, Richard (Shirley), David (Margaret), Chris (Peggy), Tim (Marion), and stepfather Richard Perry of England; Marty and Orville Brazil and family of Winnipeg. Special thanks to Margaret, the 5th floor charge nurse at Beacon Hill. "Ever lost touch, let a good friendship die, cause you never had time to call and say, "hi"? Services will be held at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway, at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 25. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road.
