Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNETTIE ULASY (TANASYCHUK) On Friday, February 15, 2002, at Seven Oaks General Hospital, Nettie passed away at the age of 80 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Casey in April 1999, mother Mary in 1978, father Michael in 1979, brother Walter in January 2000, and infant sister Sabrina in 1913. Nettie was the beloved mother of daughters, Pat (Ken) Spicer, Angela (Bill) Solylo, son Randy (Kathy) Ulasy; grandchildren, Ken and Bob (Rachele) Spicer; Bill (Melanie) Solylo, Clifton (Angela) Solylo; and six great-grandchildren, Nicole, Allison, Lauren, Brandon, Brenliegh and Kristen; brothers, Mike (Julie), Borden (Dorothy) sister-in-law Lena Tanasychuk. Nettie and Casey were married 58 years and made their home in West Kildonan. She loved spending time in her garden, also her nights out at bingo and for several years belonged to a bowling league. She spent the last year of her life in Holy Family Nursing Home. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, February 19, at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 20 at 10:00 a.m., also in the chapel, with The Very Rev. Fr. John Melnyk officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Netties memory to Seven Oaks Hospital Foundation, 2300 McPhillips St., Winnipeg, MB R2V 3M3, or to a charity of your choice. Pallbearers will be Randy Ulasy, Ken Jr., and Bob Spicer, Borden and Blair Tanasychuk and Glen Fuelliturre. Remembrance is a golden chain Death tries to break, but all in vain.
