JEANNINE ASSELIN (nee PAMBRUN) Peacefully, at the age of 67 years, with her children at her side, our mom passed away on Friday, February 15, 2002, at the Victoria General Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Denis; sister Noella Champagne; brothers, Ronald Pambrun and Martial Pambrun (who died in infancy). She is survived by her children, Ed (Joanne), Annette, Jocelyn (Larry), and Marc (Lori). Mom also leaves behind her grandchildren, Diana-Lynn, Karen, Christine, Kevin, Jared, Andrew, Scott, and her great grandson Justin, and her sister Therese (Ernest) Drouin and brother Richard (Danielle) Pambrun. A celebration of moms life will be held on Tuesday, February 19 at 1:30 p.m. in the P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion St. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date. We would like to acknowledge and give special thanks to Dr. K.S. Jolly and also to the staff at the Victoria General Hospital Unit 5, especially Heather and Linda who made our mom and ourselves comfortable at this most difficult time.
