Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH DALE BARTLEY It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden loss of Kenneth Dale Bartley on Sunday, February 17, 2002. He was a loving son to May Bartley; nephew to Art Bartley and Clayton Bartley; brother to Jim and Eileen and Don and Marilyn; husband to Joan; "Dad" to Tracy and Trent; and son-in-law to David; Grandpa to Tristan and Emily; uncle to Kelly, Dana, Jason, Aaron, Dana, Mackenzie and Harrison; and a friend to so many. He will also be missed by Edith Borde, Fran Burgess and Steve Erickson, Jack Lowe, Gordon and Charmaine Lowe, Joanne Bartley and all those whose lives he touched. Dad had a long and successful career in Brandon, including many years with Beaver Lumber and time with All-Fab. His time and heart always went out to others. He was very actively involved with the Lions Club, St. Matthews Cathedral and Hobbs Manor. He enjoyed curling, a round of golf, canoe adventures and coffee with his pals at the donut shop. Happy memories include family camping trips, cross-country skiing, travels to the Caribbean and Australia and playing with his grandkids. A memorial service will be held at St. Matthews Cathedral, 403 - 13th St., Brandon, on Thursday, February 21 at 2:00 p.m. Rt. Rev. Jim Njegovan will officiate. Placement of Kens cremated remains will follow in St. Matthews Columbarium. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Ken may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 415 - 1st St., Brandon, MB R7A 2W8, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Unit 3, 824 - 18th St., Brandon, MB R7A 5B7.
