Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAWRENCE GILBERT WAKE July 14, 1911 - February 10, 2002 Peacefully, after a brief illness at Concordia Hospital, Lawrence Gilbert Wake passed away at the age of 90 years. Lawrence was predeceased by Ivy, his beloved wife of 60 years; sister Hilda and brothers Albert, Stanley and Cecil. He is survived by his daughter Doreen Massie (Jack) his son Grant Wake; five grandchildren, Shelley MacPhail, Brin MacPhail, Flanna MacPhail (Chris Yackoboski), Julia Wake and Ian Wake; two great-grandchildren, Sam and Charles Yackoboski and brothers, Percival and Wilfred Wake. Lawrence was a life member of Meridian Lodge No. 140. At Lauries request cremation has taken place and there will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the HSC Childrens Centre. Klassen Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 338-0331.
