Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLIFFORD GEORGE WILLIAMSON November 9, 1904 - February 13, 2002 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing with his family be his side of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather at the age of 97 at the Evergreen Care Home in White Rock, BC. He was predeceased by his wife Betty of 75 years; his parents, three sisters and one brother. He is sadly missed by his two daughters, Dorothy in White Rock, May (Bill) in Winnipeg; two granddaughters Lori and Leslie; three grandsons, Sean, Bill Jr., Craig and five great-grandchildren. Clif was born in La Riviere, MB on November 9, 1904. During his early years he was a school teacher in various rural areas of MB, before settling in Winnipeg. He joined the Air Force in 1942 and served his country till wars end in 1945. After returning home he worked for the Canadian National Railway in Winnipeg until 1959, when he and Betty moved to Victoria, BC where they spent 38 years of happy retirement. They moved to White Rock BC in 1997 to be closer to their daughter Dorothy. Clif enjoyed working with wood and was a professional carpenter. During his years in Winnipeg one of his challenges was to build a summer home at Rice Lake, MB where the family spent many happy summers. After moving to Victoria Clif worked for three years at the BC Parks Department and he also spent many productive hours renovating and expanding their Vancouver Island home. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, February 17 in the Chapel at the Evergreen Care Home, 1550 Oxford Street, White Rock after which a gathering of family and friends will be held at the home of Dorothy Stolth, 14897 21st. Avenue, White Rock. A private burial will take place later at Valleyview Cemetery. We are already missed Dad
