Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMAN ALEXANDER MILLER Peacefully on February 14, 2002 Norm passed away at the age of 98. Left to mourn his passing and cherish his memory are his daughter Karen, son-in-law Gabriel Robert and seven step-grandchildren. Norm will also be sadly missed by sister-in-law Grace Miller of Brandon, brother-in-law Ted Satersmoen of Minneapolis and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Jane (April 2001) his parents, Alexander and Katie Miller; brothers, William and Harry; and sisters, Elizabeth, Marion and Kathleen. Norm was born in Justice, MB on March 21, 1903 and came to Winnipeg as a young man where he resided until his passing. He married Jane in 1936 and they shared 64 happy years together. They complimented each other perfectly and formed an inseparable team. Norm was a very proud and private person and a devoted family man. He had a cheerful smile and friendly greeting for everyone. Norm had a great zest for life, followed current events and sports of all kinds, especially football and hockey. He also enjoyed travelling to visit family and friends. In keeping with Norms wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private family interment of cremated remains will be held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family wish to thank the staff of Lions Manor and Home Care for their kindness and care during the years Norm resided there. We also wish to thank the staff of Central Park Lodge (Parkview Place) for their care and compassion during Norms final weeks. Family and friends wishing to make memorial donations in memory of Norm may do so to the Alzheimers Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB., R3C 4G2 or to a charity of your choice. I see a smile upon his face, As Dad moves on to another place, And watches Mom standing there, As Heavens wind blows through her hair. Now two young souls walk hand in hand, In a place where theres no mortal man, Where spirits know, no sorrow, no pain, And where our Dad knows Mom again.
