LARRY BUNSTON We are saddened to announce the passing of Larry Bunston on February 16, 2002, at the Grace Hospital. He was 85. Larry will forever be loved and missed by his wife and angel Irene; his four children, Brian (Carol), Don (Sheila), Pat (Doug) and Gail (Dennis) his eight grandchildren, Glenn, Colin, Grant (Nancy), Jennifer (Kerry), Neil, Allan (Brenda), Greg, and Lori; his three great-grandchildren, Rachel, Alison, and Jillian. He also leaves behind a sister, Dorothy Braund and two sisters-in-law, Victoria and Norma Bunston. Larry was predeceased by his parents, Caroline and Bill; and by his three brothers, Keith, Harold, and Bill. Born on October 10, 1916, in Winnipeg, the loss of Larry deprives the family of its greatest storyteller. Larry and Irene shared an energetic, exciting life together. Tales of bartering for trinkets in Tijuana, dancing and swimming every winter in San Diego, and romantic walks on the embankment of the River Thames in England were the results of Larry and Irenes love of life and adventure. They were members of the Westview Dance Club for 30 years and along with dancing, they made many lasting friendships. Larrys most fulfilling work came during his 15 years at the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba. He also served our country during the Second World War as a member of the Air Force from 1941-1945. Irene and the family would like to thank the staff on the third floor at the Grace Hospital for their care and understanding these last few months. The memorial service will take place on Wednesday, February 20, 2002, at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A reception will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8. Good bye and rest peacefully......
