Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM T. LANDIAK It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of William T. Landiak on Saturday, February 16, 2002, at his cottage in Bayshore Heights, Arnes, MB at the age of 54 years. He was predeceased by his father William, mother-in-law Miriam, nephew Jason, as well as his grandparents, Thomas and Tekla Manchur, Mathew and Anna Landiak. William will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his beloved wife Linda of 27 years and son Michael; mother Julia; sister Patricia (Eugene) Statkewich; nephews, Adam and Simon; niece Naomi; father-in-law Woodrow (Pearl) Wilson; brother-in-law Bruce (Gisele) Wilson; niece Nicole and sister-in-law Karin (Frank) Barbaro. He will also be missed by his many friends. Bill was born in Winnipeg on May 2, 1947 and lived his entire life in the Fort Rouge area. He spent all of his working years with the C.N. Railway. Bill enjoyed spending as much time as possible at the lake and he especially enjoyed kayaking along the shores of Lake Winnipeg with his family and friends. He will also be remembered for his thoughtfulness, sense of humour and generosity. Pallbearers will be Adam Statkewich, Simon Statkewich, Mike Rennick, Grant Kolodie, Lorne Chambers and Tony Barbaro. Honorary Pallbearers will be Eugene Statkewich, Bruce Wilson and Frank Barbaro. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, February 19, at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1001 Grant Ave. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 20, at 10:00 a.m. also at Holy Family Church with Rev. Fr. Mark Gnutel officiating. Cremation to follow. Bill will be laid to rest at a private gathering at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bills memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St. Wpg. R3B 2H8.
