Malcolm leaves to mourn his beloved wife Erith; his son Sean and girlfriend Donna; his daughter Petra and son-in-law Derek Avanthay; two grandchildren that he adored and who adored him and who are both devastated by the loss of their pappa, ten year old Josh who was his best pal and four year old Tayler who was his special little princess. Also, his mother Nellie in England. He was predeceased by his brother Roger and his father Harry. Malcolm retired almost four years ago from a job he loved as an instructor at the Red River Community College. Malcolm came to Canada from England in 1966, and he started work at Manitoba Bridge, later moving to Dominion Bridge before joining the staff at RRCC. Malcolm will be fondly remembered by his friends and family for his zest for life, his sense of humour and his "always happy" disposition. Life without him is unimaginable. The family would like to thank the Fire and Paramedic Personnel who valiantly attempted to revive Malcolm at home. A memorial service will be held 2:00 on Wednesday, February 20, at the Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Malcolms name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8.
