Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE KUCHAK (nee NASECHUK) It is with deep sorrow that after several years of failing health, Annie Kuchak, of 87 years, peacefully passed away February 17, 2002 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Annie leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Mary Shott and husband Ernie, Walter, Helen, John and wife Joyce, and Annie Rose. Baba will be sadly missed by her four grandchildren, Glenn and Kevin Shott and Travis and Tiffany Kuchak, whom she loved deeply and who were her pride and joy. Annie also leaves to mourn her two sisters-in-law, Sophie Kirby of Winnipeg and Kay Nasechuk of Edmonton; numerous nieces and nephews, friends and relatives. Annie was predeceased July 30, 1991 by her husband Fred of 47 years; her father Nick in 1951 and mother Sanchira in 1980; her brothers, Alex, John, Bill and Stan; her sisters, Dora, Helen, and Rose; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Revus and Dorothy Revus. There were many people that were dear to her; however, Mom had a special love in her heart for her niece Sharon who visited frequently showing much love and care. Annie was born December 20, 1914 in Gardenton, MB. She moved to Winnipeg in her mid-teens and worked hard throughout her live. One particular job that Mom often talked about was working with her brothers, Alex and John at a logging camp in Ontario. Mom endured many hardships in making a good and happy life; this making Mom a strong force in her childrens lives. In addition to looking after her family, Mom loved to work in her vegetable garden. On many late afternoons coming home from school, her children would see Mom working the garden humming a tune. Annes grandchildren always commented on Babas humour; now it will be sadly missed. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, February 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral Rites will be on Thursday, February 21 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ivan Suchavsky Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 939 Main St. with Rev. Fr. Cornell Zubritsky officiating. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Annes grandsons, Glenn and Kevin Shott, and Travis Kuchak; granddaughter Tiffany Kuchak, nephew Bud Danelak and friend Michael Babey. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Annies memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or the Association of Community Living - Winnipeg. A cluster of beautiful memories Sprayed with a million tears, Wishing God spared you but a few more years. Thanks for the years you gave us And for the happy times we shared We only pray that when you left us You knew how much we cared. Our family chain is broken And nothing seems the same But as God calls us one by one Our chain will link again. VICHNAYA PAMYAT REST IN PEACE CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
