Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALBERT ROUSSEAU Peacefully on Monday, February 18, 2002, at the Foyer Valade, Albert, beloved husband of Yvonne Rousseau (nee Goulet), passed away at the age of 82 years. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Yvonne; his children, Janine, Ernie, Gisele, Denise, Michele and their families; as well as his only remaining sister Helene; and numerous nieces and nephews. Albert was predeceased by his parents, Andre and Yvonne; one brother Gerard; three sisters, Alice, Therese and Agnes. Dad was born in Inwood, MB on November 16, 1919 and raised in St. Norbert. After his discharge from the Army he became involved in the trucking industry. He was co-founder of Al Sewage Services and worked there until his retirement in 1977. Dad was active with many groups including St. Boniface Community Committee, Toastmasters and Knights of Columbus, Goulet Council as a Grand Knight. One of his most gratifying achievements was his involvement in the construction of lEglise du Precieux-Sang. Dad enjoyed spending time with family and friends. During his retirement, he and Mom liked to travel by motorhome. At home, he liked to putter around in "Big Als Workshop". The family would like to thank all the staff at Foyer Valade for their outstanding care and compassion for Dad over the last two years. Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 21 in the St. Norbert Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Foyer Valade, 450 River Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2M 5M4. "Adieu cher Papa.
