Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAGNES DeVOS Peacefully on February 18, 2002 at the Eriksdale Personal Care Home, Agnes DeVos, beloved wife of George DeVos, passed away at the age of 80 years. Mom was born on August 8, 1921 in Winnipeg, MB. At a very young age the family moved to Deerhorn, MB. Later the family moved back to Winnipeg, where she attended school, went to work and later got married. Mom and Dad were married June 5, 1946. They lived in St. Norbert where they operated a dairy farm. 18 years ago, they moved from the Fort Garry area to Eriksdale, but due to her Alzheimers, she had spent the last five years in the care home. Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her passing, a daughter Sandra (John) Ryden; grandsons, Kyle (Carrie), Paul, Colin (Rachelle) and great-grandson Thomas Ryden, all of Eriksdale, MB; a son David (Alice) granddaughters, Karen (Ross), Candace and Lori DeVos, all of St. Adolphe, MB; sister Heather (Marcel) Taillieu; sisters-in-law, Joyce Mann and Betty (Jerry) Lilley; brothers-in-law Joe DeVos, Robert (Madeleine) DeVos; sisters-in-law, Mary DeVos and Irene (Joe) Sternastek, all of Winnipeg, MB. She also leaves her aunty Elsie Henrotte and friend George Watson of Eriksdale, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mom was predeceased by her Mom and Dad, Alexander and Germaine Mann (nee Henrotte) brothers, David and Marcel; sister and brother-in-law Katy and Adolph Coopman; niece Heather Mann and nephew Randall DeVos. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 23 in the Eriksdale Recreational Centre with Father Ernest Kamath officiating. Service to conclude at the hall with burial to follow at a later date. All of Agnes grandchildren can consider themselves Honorary Pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eriksdale Personal Care Home, c/o E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital Guild, P.O.
