MARY GARDINER Peacefully, on Monday, February 18, 2002 at St. Boniface General Hospital, with her family at her side, Mary Gardiner, aged 63, beloved mother and sister passed away after a long battle from kidney disease. She is survived by her sons, Don (Roslyn) and Gary (Karen) sister Betty; brothers, Bernie, Rudy and Bill. She was predeceased by her mother Katherine and father Joseph and brothers, Ray, Matt and sister Agnes. Mary was born July 30, 1938 in Wroxton, SK. She first moved to Winnipeg in 1960 where she worked at the Holy Family Nursing Home. A few years later she married and had two sons. She then began work for Wilsons Auto Elec. where she remained for 34 years. She leaves behind many good friends there, having left work due to illness. Mary was a loving mother and sister who spent her time with her family and friends, and especially cherished time with her grandsons, Steven and Ryan. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Many thanks to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their compassionate care of our dear mother and sister.
