Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLIVE WILLOUGHBY SHAW Peacefully, on Saturday, February 23, 2002 at the Riverview Health Centre, Olive Shaw passed away at the age of 94 years. Olive will be lovingly remembered by her niece Olive Bowman (Ian), and her grandnieces, Sandra Morigeau (Dale), Laura Bourne (Dave) and Kristine Bowman (Claude), and her grandnephews, Keith Miller (Carman), Rob Bowman and Derek Bowman. Olive was predeceased by her sister Helen Elders and her niece Evelyn Miller. Olives family would like to acknowledge the Holder family for the important part they played in her life. Olive worked for over 40 years as a deaconess for the United Church of Canada. She worked with all age groups from nursery schools through womens groups to senior citizens. She established formal programs, assisted the efforts of others and simply was a presence to those who needed her. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at the Riverview Health Centre for their dedication to her care. In keeping with Olives wishes, cremation has taken place. A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday, March 7 at 2:30 p.m. in the Crescent Fort Rouge United Church, 525 Wardlaw Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crescent Fort Rouge United Church, 525 Wardlaw Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0L9.
