STUART C. MORISON March 4, 1924 - February 11, 2002 Of St. Albert, AB formerly of Winnipeg. Stuart passed away peacefully after a brief struggle with cancer at the Sturgeon Hospital in St. Albert, AB. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Dad moved with his family to Canada in 1929, settling in Winnipeg and growing up in the St. James area. Dad joined the service in 1939 with the Lord Strathcona Horse and served overseas in England. He played in various Pipe and Drum Bands over the years. He was a very talented drummer and took his heritage very seriously. Dad was predeceased by his parents and brother William. Left to mourn his passing his wife Helen of 57 years; his five children, daughter Pamela (Mike), sons, Brian (Carol) of Alberta, Robert, Kevin (Sandra) of Winnipeg, Fraser (Ute) of Moosejaw and sister Margaret of Sydney, BC; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Cremation and service have taken place. Donations in Stuarts name may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
