ISABELLE THERESE BEAUDRY (nee BONOT) Peacefully on February 20, 2002, surrounded by her family, at St. Boniface Hospital after a courageous fight with cancer. Isabelle was born in Vassar, MB on March 7, 1926. She spent her young life there and received her education. On July 6, 1943 she married Oscar Beaudry and together they had four children. In 1951, they moved to Winnipeg where she raised her family. She was a devoted mother and wife and cherished the time with her family. She worked in the medical field, first as a nurses aid at the Winnipeg Municipal Hospital, and later moved to St. Boniface Hospital. Isabelle was employed as a ward clerk on 5B until her retirement in 1991. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Oscar; daughters, Beatrice, Marcelle (Lyle) Spicer; sons, Rene (Sigrid), Guy (Sheri) grandchildren, Andrea (Ken) Rozsa, Deirdre Beaudry and fiance Jeff Melcosky, Ryan Beaudry; Hannah, Paige and Lauren Beaudry; great-granddaughters, Stephanie, Tiffany and Courtney Rozsa; and great-grandson Austin McCormick. Brothers, Arthur Bonot of Emo, ON and Roger Bonot of Winnipeg; and sister Theresa Sleeman of Rainy River, ON also survive her. Isabelle was predeceased by her parents, Marcel and Edna Bonot, and sister Jean Boutang. A special thank you is given to the nurses and staff of the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit, especially Dr. Loiselle; nurses, Sandy, Tracey and Michelle. Their kindness and consideration made Moms last days comfortable and peaceful. Flowers are respectfully declined and donations may be made in Isabelles name to the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit, 409 Tache, Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6 or to CancerCare Manitoba, ON 109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 23 at 2:00 p.m. from Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 East at Green Acres Lane. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room at Green Acres.
