JOHN ERNEST (ERNIE) McGREGOR In celebration of the life of Ernie McGregor who passed away on Wednesday February 20, 2002 at the Carman Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife Myrle of 64 years, during which time they shared many happy times. He is also survived by three sons and one daughter, Marvyn (Anne), Noreen (John) Carley, Jim (Vicky), Perry (Bev) eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister Jessie Sherry; and many other relatives and friends. Prior to retirement, Ernie and Myrle farmed a century farm on which Ernie was born. Ernie was a longtime member of the Agriculture Society, Church Board and Curling Club. He was also very involved with the Carman Beavers, both as executive member and timekeeper. Funeral service will be held on Friday March 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the Carman United Church with Rev. Harold Kenyon officiating. Reception to follow the service with interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Carman United Church Building Fund, Box 1177, or to the Carman Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Box 610, Carman, MB R0G 0J0.
