Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARROS ANNA METHERINGHAM (nee OLAFSON) Passed away suddenly on February 22, 2002 at Heritage Park Lodge in Winnipeg, MB. She leaves behind her loving husband of 45 years Harry; her sister Lauga Magnusson, as well as nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Thorgrimur and Rosa Olafsson; one brother and sisters-in-law Olafur and Helen Olafson; one sister and brother-in-law Jack and Thorstina Burke; and one brother-in-law Agnar Magnusson. She was born in the Sinclair area and attended school there and in Reston, MB before moving to Winnipeg. She worked as a bookkeeper and secretary for the Day Nursery Centre for many years. Arros was a very caring, loving person who will de deeply missed by all whose life she touched. She was keenly devoted to her family. She enjoyed bowling, bridge, sketching, painting, crafts and going for walks. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 26 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with Reverend Rod Buck officiating. Viewing will be held one half hour prior to service time. A gathering of family and friends will be held in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2.
