Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET LECLERC (nee WALSH) 1908 - 2002 Margaret passed away peacefully at Lions Manor on February 24, 2002. Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband in 1979. She was a very generous and caring person who enjoyed life to the fullest. She had an abundance of friends whose company she enjoyed as well as a loving family. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews and her dear friend Maddie. Margaret, the daughter of Vincent and Margaret Walsh, was born in Victoria, BC, on January 13, 1908 and moved to Winnipeg at an early age. Her husband Arthur owned and operated Leclerc Pharmacy in St. Boniface for many years where Margaret also worked. She was actively involved in the community, with the Optimist Club, St. Boniface Hospital Auxiliary and the Womens Auxiliary to Manitoba Druggists. The family wishes to thank the staff of 333 Maryland and the second floor PCC of the Lions Club of Winnipeg Housing Centre for the care given and compassion shown to Margaret during her stay. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Boniface Hospital Auxiliary, 409 Tache Ave., R2H 2A6 or a charity of your choice. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 27, at St. Thomas More Chapel at 66 Birchdale Ave., St. Boniface at 2:00 p.m. Interment of ashes to follow at a later date.
