MARTHA FLORENCE MARSDEN (THOMPSON) November 26, 1965 - February 23, 2002 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, daughter, sister, and auntie, Martha Florence Marsden (Thompson) of Fairford, MB, on Saturday, February 23, 2002, at the age of 36 years. Martha is survived by her children, Tony Jr., Tiffany and Jordan; parents, William and Olive Marsden; grandfather Henry G. Anderson; previous husband Tony; brothers, Wilfred (Martha) Marsden, Raymond (Lillian) Marsden, Jason (Heather) Marsden, Leonard and friend Angel, Grant and friend Amanda, Greg and friend Candace; sisters, Orlena (Patrick) Scott, Muriel (Vaughan) Woodhouse, Loretta (Vince) Sinclair, Cindy and friend Desmond, and Caroline; also numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and all those who knew her. Martha often expressed her love towards her family and her devotion to her children. Her nieces and nephews were very special to her. She would often tease them in a fun and loving way. Martha was also a very special friend to her cousins. Martha was predeceased by her grandparents, Charles Marsden in 1974, Martha Marsden in 1984, Granny Florence Anderson in 1987, Wilfred and Irene Letandre, Tom and Elsie Letandre; aunties, Linda Anderson in 1985, Susan Sumner in 1995, John and Irene Marsden, Alfred and Caroline Bruce, and Carrie Letandre; uncles, Kenneth Beardy on August 20, 2001, Raymond Sumner on September 8, 2001; cousins, Elaine Sumner in 1978, Lawrence Anderson in 1993, and Timothy Pruden on June 8, 2001; nieces, Leona Anderson and Leya Marsden on February 12, 2002; and nephew Leslie Sumner in October 1999. Wake service will be held on Wednesday, February 27 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 28 at 1:00 p.m. Both services will be held at the Fairford House of Prayer, Fairford, MB, with Pastor Gerald Anderson and Pastor Wilfred Bruce officiating. Interment will follow at St. Helens Anglican Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Karen Pangman, Adrienne Beardy, Rita Parenteau, Doris Letandre, Angela Baptiste, Cassie Beardy.
