ANNE JANOSKI Peacefully after a lengthy illness, with her family by her side, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of our loving mother, Anne Janoski on Sunday, February 24, 2002 at the age of 84 years, at Deer Lodge Centre. Mom will be deeply missed by her loving family, daughters, Diana (Rick) Tallman, Prince George, BC, and Brenda (Ken) Macdonald, Winnipeg; grandchildren, Kris and Kimi Tallman, Dean (Debbie) Brandt, Corey Brandt, Kyle and Blair Macdonald; great-grandchildren, Alana, Callie and Cameron; and sisters, Helen and Julie. After 51 years of marriage (January 18, 1941), she was predeceased by her husband Ted on December 2, 1992, and by her sisters, Mary and Alice; brothers, Walter, Peter and Nick; and parents, Annastasia and Louis Kashmark. Anne was born on December 23, 1917 in Winnipeg. For most of her life, she owned and operated hairdressing businesses and raised her family to whom she was totally devoted. On Tuesday, March 5 at 1:00 p.m., Annes funeral service will be held in the Deer Lodge United Church, 2093 Portage Ave. at Belvidere Street. A light luncheon will follow with interment then to be held in Brookside Cemetery beside Dad. Our family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of 4-West at Deer Lodge Centre and Dr. Henry and staff of the Dialysis Unit at St. Boniface Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations in Annes memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada (Manitoba Branch), 200-55 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 1L8.
