Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE KILLBERY (BRIDGES) It is with sadness that her family announces the death of Alice Killbery on Sunday, February 24, 2002, at the age of 85 years at the Grace General Hospital. Alice will be lovingly remembered by her husband Tom; sons, Wayne (Anne) of Teulon, MB, and Barry (Kathy) of Winnipeg; daughters, Lynn (Russell) Crockett of Granite Lake, ON and Sharon (Bruce Nichols) Killbery of Victoria, BC; and her brother Harry Bridges of Winnipeg, MB. Nanny will also be remembered by her grandchildren, Wendy (Neil) MacDonald, Russ (Marie) Killbery, Tom (Carol) Killbery, Traci (Ron) Longley, Robin (Rob) Carnegie, Lori (Dean) McAuley, Ross (Barb) Killbery, Art Killbery, Brian (Tammy Wilson) Crockett, Steven (Kim) Crockett, Stacey Crockett, Kelly Nichols, and Alexis Nichols; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Alice was predeceased by her daughter Gail in September of 2001; her parents, Maude and Joe Bridges; her sister Vera Kay and her brothers, Bill and Tom Bridges. Alice was born in Souris, MB on June 10, 1916. She was raised in Souris where she met Tom and they were married February 25, 1935. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 27, at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception will follow. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Russell, Tom, Ross, and Art Killbery, and Brian and Steven Crockett. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice.
