Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE ALINA WITKO (1959 - 2002) Suddenly on Thursday, February 21, 2002 at her home, Rose Alina Witko passed away. Born Rose Alina Roy in St. Zephirin, PQ and educated at St. Joseph Academy, Rose married Michael John Witko June 20, 1959 at Immaculate Conception Church in Edmonton, AB. Rose was predeceased by her loving husband and best friend Michael John Witko in 1991. She was also predeceased by her father Wilfred Roy; her mother Seraphine Roy and her brother Clement Roy. Rose is survived by her sister Rose Amy Faucher; nieces, Cheryl, Aline, Lorraine and nephew George and special friends, Nettie Kowpak and Shirley Champagne. Rose and her husband resided in Edmonton, AB for many years and had strong dedication to the community. Rose will always be remembered for her excellent culinary skills, hard work and love of her garden and flowers. She always had good advice when needed, a thought or a funny story. Rose touched many people through her life with her humanity and kindness and will be dearly missed. AFTERGLOW Id like the memory of me to be a happy one, Id like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. Id like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and bright and sunny days. Id like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun, Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
