MARJORIE MAY MATTHEWS On February 26, 2002 Mom left us to be with God and her beloved husband Art. After a courageous and hard fought battle she passed away peacefully surrounded by her entire family. Left to forever cherish her memory are her children, Marilyn (Len), Douglas (Marion), Lorraine, Donald (Norma) her grandchildren, Cheryl (Kenneth), Kyle, Tyler, Carly, Amanda, Laura, Michael, Karl, Bryann; her great-granddaughter Keyana; her stepmother Mary; her sisters, June, Betty, Edna and Anne; her brother Charlie and their families and her many friends. Marj was a devoted wife and mother, a best friend to all. She took great joy in her grandchildren. She loved her bingo; the gambling trips with Lorraine; crossword puzzles; her afternoon cup of coffee with her dear friend Gwen; the family up-dates from her sister June. She was proud to be a navy wren and loved to sing her navy songs to the kids. Funeral services and reception will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, March 1 at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A special thank you to the ICU Staff at the Grace Hospital.
