JOHN MATTHEW YOUNG On Monday, February 25, 2002 at the Pembina Manitou Health Centre in Manitou, MB. John Matthew Young passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years. John was predeceased by his wife Agatha Young (Klippenstein) in 1995. Surviving to mourn his loss are two sons, three daughters, and their families. Although his livelihood was farming, other interests included hunting, fishing and curling. John was a member of the Manitoba Rifle Association, Game and Fish Association, the Wildlife Federation, EMO, and Junior Rifle Training and Hunter Safety Program. For several years he was a councillor for the RM of Pembina. A memorial service will be held from St. Andrews United Church in Manitou on Sunday, March 3 at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Bev and Rev. Laurie Simpson officiating. Grahams Funeral Service of Manitou in care of arrangements.
