IRENE MALAK After a courageous battle with cancer on February 28, 2002, Irene beloved wife of Vern passed away at age 69. Besides her husband, left to mourn are her children, Larry and wife Deanna, Brian and wife Therese, Rob and wife Karen, Anna and husband Todd. Also she leaves her grandchildren, Suzanne. Richard, Jason, Katherine, Braden, Dylan, and Haley. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary; brother John; and sister Nellie. Irene was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was active in her community of Beausejour as President of Club 50, and volunteering at Togs and Treasures. She was employed for many years at Sears and Boes Polo Park. Irene will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held at McClure United Church at 533 Greenwood Place, Winnipeg, MB on March 7 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 193 Sherbrook St. R3C 9Z9. A Note From Vern You were the love of my life, And now you are gone. Not sure how I can go on. I loved you from the day we met, not once since then has there been regret. No days to come will make me forget the love we shared and the soulmates we were. Rest in Peace My Love and know that we will be together forever some day... We love you Mom.
