Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHILDA MAY BULLOCK (nee SHEFFIELD) Hilda May Bullock passed away at age 92 on February 28, 2002 at the Misericordia Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her husband William O. on February 1996. Also her parents, Alfred J. and Grace Sheffield; and two brothers, Alfred and Wilfred. She is survived by one sister Ethel G. Saunders of Winnipeg and numerous relatives on the West Coast, Ontario, England, Australia and New Zealand. Hilda was born in Yeovil, England and the family immigrated to Canada in the spring of 1914, settling in West Kildonan. Hilda was very active in the Wolf Cubs of the Boy Scout movement, enjoying the camping and the outdoors activities. She was secretary of the Manitoba Hotel Association from its inception until her retirement. In May 1950 she married William O. Bullock and they enjoyed travelling the world and spent many happy hours with friends at their summer cottage. Grateful thanks is extended to all those who gave Hilda great care at Lions Manor, Misericordia Home Care, with special thanks to Marion Gray and Doreen McKay. Cremation has taken place and as her request there will be no memorial service. Flowers gratefully declined and donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
