DANIEL GRANT McPHERSON Suddenly, on March 1, 2002, our beloved son Danny, aged 24, returned to our Heavenly Father. A member of the Peguis First Nation, Danny leaves to mourn his mother Theresa; step-father Barry; brothers, Jerry, Aaron and Jaycee; his grandmother Verlie Bailey and grandfather Morris McPherson; father Grant; step-mother Treena and step-sister Tara. He also leaves to mourn his stepfamily the Browns; girlfriend Melvina and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Those that had the pleasure of knowing and meeting Danny, would have instantly recognized a person with an incredibly gentle and kind spirit. Danny had an enormous love and loyalty for his friends and family (as demonstrated by the countless hours he spent playing, talking and visiting with them). Danny was a young man who best exemplified the qualities of respect, politeness and unselfishness. Truly, the world is a darker place today without the presence of Dannys love, laughter and joy. Danny was blessed with a great talent for drawing and loved working with his hands and loved the sport of boxing. Prayers will be held on Monday, March 4 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 5 at 2:00 p.m. also at the Chapel. I can't believe it's been 3 years. I still find myself wanting to tell you something, or show you something, or I hear a joke I know you would love. I wish I could have just one more day with you to tell you how much I appreciated you, and to make sure you knew how much your help meant to me. You took over the role of 'dad' to Bailey, and you took it seriously, and I will hold that in my heart for the rest of my life.
