Offer Condolences or MemoryOLGA VERNA DYCK (KEHLER) Peacefully, with her children by her side, Olga went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, March 3, 2002, at the age of 72 years. She leaves to mourn, her six children, Romelda (Allen) Dixon, Leona (Ernie) Boschmann, Wes (Jennie) Kehler of Toronto, Gwen (Terry) Gilmer, Reg (Sally) Kehler of Brandon, Valerie (Rene) Van Braeckel; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five brothers, one sister, and spouses. She was predeceased by her parents and her two husbands, George H. Kehler and Henry D. Dyck. Olga was born on May 27, 1929 and raised in Niverville, MB. In 1947 she married George H. Kehler and their marriage was blessed with six children. In 1969 they moved to Winnipeg where George passed away two years later. In 1975 she married her best friend and second husband Henry D. Dyck; they had 18 wonderful years together. Olga loved to read, sew, knit and do ceramics, until her deteriorating health forced her to give up these pursuits. As a family, we want to extend our sincere gratitude to the staff on N3 East at Concordia Hospital for the excellent care they provided to our mother. Funeral services will be held at Springfield Heights Mennonite Church, 570 Sharron Bay on Thursday, March 7 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Niverville Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. There will be a devotional at 7:00 p.m. with visitation following to 8:00 p.m, held at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. on Wednesday, March 6. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) 134 Plaza Dr., Winnipeg, R3T 5K9.
