Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHLEEN HALL (nee PASCOE) It is with great sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing on Saturday, February 23, 2002 of Kathleen Hall at her home in Lakeshore Park Tower. Kathleen was born September 22, 1943 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She completed high school in Belfast before immigrating to Canada with her family in 1960. In her younger days Kathleen was an active and enthusiastic member of Home Street United Church and was part of its young peoples program for several years. She started work in Winnipeg at Great West Life and later became a flight attendant at Transair. She completed training as a certified dental assistant in 1966, first working with Dr. Elsey in Winnipeg, later Dr. Grant and finally Dr. Donnenfeld at Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago. She returned to Winnipeg in 1968 and devoted her energies to raising her family and attending University of Manitoba. She also pursued artistic interests in an amateur acting career and appeared in a number of local productions including a tour of Manitoba with the Actors Showcase acting group. She had a deep interest in communications and public relations and was involved in a number of election campaigns with the Progressive Conservative Party, both provincially and federally, frequently handling all public relations aspects of the campaign. For a two-year period she hosted her own interview program ("Hallmark") on Winnipeg Public Access Television, which was carried weekly for two years on Sunday evening and included interviews of many local newsmakers. Kathleen lived for the last 16 years at Lakeshore Park Tower in Fort Richmond where she enjoyed many friends and family. She recently completed a two week holiday in Belfast with some family members and visited many of her relatives and acquaintances. Her greatest pleasure and love in life was her family and close friends for whom no service or sacrifice was ever too great and by whom she will be greatly missed. Kathleen was predeceased by her parents, John and Jane Pascoe of Belfast, and is survived by her sons, Jeffrey of Saskatoon and Jonathan of New Westminster; as well as her former husband, Barre; her sisters and brothers, Meta, Jim, Adeline (and husband Clevis), Margaret, Sandra, Harry (and wife Lynn) and Wesley (and wife Wendy) nieces, Michca Ballard and Laura Petelko; nephews, Simon Ballard and Wilson Pascoe; and grand-niece Zoe Fortin. She is also survived by Uncle Samuel and the Barbour family circle, as well as the Wilson family in Belfast. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of ones choice. A private service was held at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway, on Thursday, February 28. Farewell Kathleen, you will be greatly missed and in our hearts always. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
