She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband Frank; daughters, Susan (Alan) Bell, Patti (Don) Duncan, Frances (Francis Martin) Humphreys; son James; and special nephew Bob (Lynn) Hamilton. Isobel was a loving grandmother and greatest fan of grandchildren, Carolyn, Lindsay, Brian, Kevin Bell; Ian, Pamela and Patrick Duncan; Dylan, Cameron and Liam Humphreys; and Kurtis, Melissa, Jared, Lucas, and Nicole Hamilton. She also leaves to mourn her brother Bill (Marg) Webster; sisters, Ena Dickenson and Elaine (John) Dickenson; and many nieces and nephews. Isobel was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Nellie Webster; sisters, Jean Hamilton Calverley and Ferne Webster; brother Ted Webster; and brothers-in-law, Bud Hamilton and Grant Dickenson. Isobel was raised the eldest of seven children on the Webster family farm in the Beautiful Valley district near Poplar Point, MB. At the age of 18 she moved to Winnipeg and attended Dominion Business College where she completed a medical receptionist course. Isobel met Frank, the love of her life, and the two had a "big, happy marriage" for almost 52 years. During that time she devoted her life to raising her children, enjoying the best neighbours in the world, and working in the parish of Christ Church. Isobel was a great networker, keeping in close touch with her many dear friends and relatives across the continent. She was always interested in their lives, celebrating their triumphs and supporting them in their times of trouble. Some of Isobels diverse interests included her sorority, sewing circle, Anglican Church Women, curling at the Deer Lodge Curling Club, lawn bowling at the Tuxedo Community Club, gardening, walking in Assiniboine Park, travelling, and cheering at her grandchildrens soccer and hockey games. The most important part of all these activities was always the people she met. Special thanks to the caring staff at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg for their constant attention to Isobels comfort. Many thanks to all her faithful friends who visited her and supported her family during the past year. Funeral Liturgy and Celebration of the Eucharist will be held on Wednesday, March 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Church, Corydon Ave. and Lanark St., with Reverend Murray Still officiating. Cremation will follow with interment at a later date. Pallbearers will be friends, Bruce Goodridge and Peter Read and nephews, Rodney Dickenson, Perry Dickenson, Billy Dickenson and Kurtis Hamilton. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Isobels memory to Christ Church Memorial Fund, 1735 Corydon Ave., Winnipeg MB, R3N 0K4, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8.
