ARIE VANDENBOGERD On Friday, March 1, 2002, Aries spirit was taken home to be with the Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus Christ, in his 99th year. Arie was born on October 9, 1902 in Zevenhuizen, Netherlands. He married Jenny on January 12, 1922. They had six children. In 1950, they immigrated to Canada, settling in the St. Germain area of Winnipeg. January 2000, when they could no longer live independently in their home, they moved into the Charleswood Care Centre. Arie was predeceased by his wife Jenny on December 20, 2000, in their 79th year of marriage. Our mother was the love of Fathers life. Left to cherish his memory are his children, George of Brandon, Jacoba Hokke of Winnipeg, Riet (Jan) Neeleman and Wil (Leny) of the Netherlands, Harry of Mafaking and Mary (Bert) Mulder of Lac du Bonnet. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 6, at 1:30 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. Interment to follow in St. Vital Cemetery.
