DIEDRICH PLETT DOERKSEN 1912 - 2002 Suddenly at 9:30 a.m. on March 3, 2002, at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, Dad moved on from this life to the next. He leaves behind his wife, Sara; two daughters, Yvonne Lupky of Sandilands, Donelda (Keron) Giesbrecht of Ferndale, WA; and three sons, Arnie (Kathy), Wally (Ruth), and Dennis all of Steinbach. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Darrell (Mary-Ann) and their children, Derek, Dillon, and Megan, Murray (Jennifer) Lupky and their children, Kelly and Riley, Stacey Lupky, Todd Doerksen and his daughter Bobbie, Tom Doerksen and his daughter Montana, Kevin Doerksen, Steve Warnock, Mary (Werner) Penner and his daughter Stephanie, Trevor Doerksen, Kristopher (Gennein) Doerksen, Lori Mae Doerksen, Julie Giesbrecht, Brent Giesbrecht and Cheryl Giesbrecht. Dad was born in Blumenhof, MB and lived there most of his adult life. The funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, March 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the Blumenort E.M. Church with interment at the Blumenort Cemetery. Arrangements by Sobering Funeral Chapel of Beausejour.
