Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILBERTA MARY MALCOM (BERTA) After a long battle with Alzheimers on March 5, 2002. Berta attended United College and graduated from the University of Manitoba with a B.A. and a Bachelor of Library Science from McGill University in Montreal. Moved to Toronto where she was Librarian at the Royal Bank, Chief Librarian at A.E.Ames Investments and then on amalgamation of the two firms served as Chief Librarian at Dominion Securities. She returned to Winnipeg after her retirement. Berta is survived by her sisters, Jean Saul, Allison Molgat and Joan Malcom, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Bert and Mary Malcom, and brothers, Bud Malcolm, Jim Saul, and Gil Molgat. A memorial service to celebrate a life filled with laughter and friends will be held Saturday, March 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Flowers gratefully declined.
