Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLGA PACIORKA (nee FIGUS) Peacefully, on Tuesday, March 5, 2002, Olga passed away at the Vita Personal Care Home in Vita, MB. Olga was born on July 24, 1913 to Anton and Anna (Cesmystruk) Figus of Vita, as one of five children. She attended Koroliwka School, northwest of Vita. She was actively involved in Ukrainian Folk Dancing and Choir in Vita where she met and later married the late Harry (Hrynko) Paciorka. They were married on July 3, 1943. Together they farmed on a mixed farm east of Vita where they raised their two children. Olga was a longtime member of the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church in Vita, also the Ukrainian National Home of Vita and the Ukrainian Womens Association of Canada. She is survived by her children, Orest and Nettie Paciorka of Vita, Audrey Smith of Toronto, ON; grandsons, Gregory and Michael Paciorka of Vita; brother John Figus of Vita; sister Anna Ralke (nee Figus) of Winnipeg; nephew Robert (Rose Marie) Muzyka and family of Winnipeg; niece MaryAnn (Robert) Chalaturnyk and family of Winnipeg. Olga was predeceased by her husband Harry Paciorka in 1995; by her parents, Anton and Anna Figus; sisters, Nellie Guz and Mary Muzyka. Prayers will be held on Friday, March 8 at 7:30 p.m. at Loewen Funeral Chapel in Steinbach, MB, followed by a funeral mass on Saturday, March 9 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church in Vita, MB with Very Rev. Father Miron Pozniak officiating and with Cantor Martin Chobotar. Interment will follow at the Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service are Gregory Paciorka, Michael Paciorka, Orest Cesmistruk, David Wynychuk, Earl Sawka and Joe Kwiatkowski. Cross bearer is Robert Muzyka. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at the Vita Personal Care Home, Loewen Funeral Chapel, Very Rev. Father Miron Pozniak and Cantor Martin Chobotar.
