HELEN STEVENSON Peacefully, on March 5, 2002 at the Seven Oaks General Hospital, Helen Stevenson, aged 94 years, passed away. Helen was born on December 21, 1907 on the Key Reserve in Saskatchewan and later moved to Gimli where she spent a good part of her life. Helen was predeceased by her loving husband, Stony, along with many members of her immediate family and leaves to mourn her passing, her son Ron and family; daughter Linda (Campbell) grandchildren, Doreen, Mano, Tannis and Kristian; Charles and Ferne; Rhonda, Angela and Alexa; Carla, Rudy, Tyler and Carleena; Kristine, Skyler and Tayler, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A wake will be held Friday, March 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Gimli to be followed by a memorial service on Saturday, March 9 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Harold McDonald officiating. Cremation to follow at Helens request. A private interment will be held in the spring. Helen had taken many journeys in her life and has now found peace in this her final journey.
