FERNAND ALLARD On Thursday, March 7, 2002 at the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale, Fernand Allard, age 79 years, of St. Ambroise, MB. Born April 16, 1922 at St. Laurent, MB, he lived in St. Laurent most of his life before moving to St. Ambroise, MB. He was employed at Burns Foods in Winnipeg for 37 years. He is survived by his daughter Darlene Perreault; sons, Joe, Floran and Clarence; sister Doris Blais; brothers, Lionel (Delia), Fred (Velma) Allard; sisters-in-law, Marguerite Pilon and Jeannette Pilon; brother-in-law Harry McCaughan, also by his grandchildren, Cordelia, Clarisse, Joey, Cheryl, Cindy, Harry, Christine, Jane, Candace, Edward, Rene, Robert, Denise and Roger. He was predeceased by his wife Denise; children, Judy, Shelly and Harry; parents, Joseph and Alice Allard; sisters, Irene Pilon, Thelma Flamand and Ramona Carriere; brothers, Noel, Ben and Gilles Allard; brothers-in-law, Andrew Blais, Wilfrid Pilon, Leo Flamand, Emile Carriere; sisters-in-law, Marguerite (Noel), Marguerite (Ben), Lorette Allard; also grandson Clarence Dave Jr. Allard. Also predeceased are his sisters-in-law, Olive and Rose; brothers-in-law, William, Joseph, Rod and Andrew. Honorary Pallbearers will be six grandsons, Joey, Harry, Edward, Rene, Robert and Roger. Prayers will be held on Sunday, March 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Stonewall, MB. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 11 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church in St. Laurent, MB. Rev. Father Guy Lavallee will officiate, with interment of cremains to follow in the Parish Cemetery. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of the arrangements.
