MARGARET "PEGGY" DAWSON Peacefully, on Sunday, March 3, 2002 at her residence, Margaret "Peggy" Dawson, aged 86 years, of Winnipeg, formerly of Winnipeg Beach, beloved wife of the late John Edward Dawson. Peggy leaves surviving her son Albert (Mariette) Dawson of Littleton, CO; granddaughter Carmen (Amir) Arab of Nashville, TN; great-grandchildren, Naser and Mariette Arab; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. She was born on November 11, 1915 in Assissipi, MB. Peggy was a homemaker and also worked at McGregors Drug Store in Winnipeg Beach. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 14 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, with cremation to follow. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 15 at 11:00 a.m. in the Winnipeg Beach United Church, with Sandy Fergason officiating. Interment will follow in the Winnipeg Beach Community Cemetery.
