EDNA PHYLLIS DUGUAY Edna Phyllis Duguay passed away peacefully at the age of 86 in Nanaimo, BC, Friday, March 1, 2002. Beloved mother of Maureen Miles (Murray) of Nanaimo; Lavonne Ferber (Fred) of Campbell River; grandmother to Lisa Mock (Allan) of Surrey; Damien Miles and fiance Nicole Larsson of Nanaimo; Kelly Ferber and Brent Ferber of Campbell River, BC and great-grandmother to Ryan Mock of Surrey. Predeceased by husband Ralph in 1987 and brothers Wilfred and Carson. Survived by sister Geraldine Bagot of Vancouver; also survived by many nephews and nieces. Phyllis and Ralph resided in Winnipeg until 1969, when they moved to Vancouver, then Phyllis moved to Nanaimo, BC in 1989. She was a long standing member of Brechin Bowling Lanes. There was a celebration of Phyllis life held on March 5 at the First Memorial Chapel, Nanaimo, BC with a reception following at Maranatha Foursquare Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Phyllis name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
