ALBERTUS HENDRIKUS SELLES October 29, 1912 - March 6, 2002 We are sad to announce the passing of Albert known as Bertus in Holland. He was born in Amsterdam and moved to Winnipeg in 1954. He passed away at the age of 89 years. Albert was predeceased by his wife Jansje (Ann) Selles. He was employed for 27 years at Eatons. When he retired he became well known for his artistic drawing ability. He will be sadly missed by his sons, Robert Selles of Philadelphia, son Fred and his wife Bernie from Los Angeles and his daughter Irene Tackaberry and Barry Remple of Winnipeg. Albert had many grandchildren, Andrea and Brett Hudson of Yellowknife, Deanne and Stephen Munzar of Vancouver, Rob and Chantal Tackaberry of Winnipeg, Melina and Peter Storch of New York, Natalie and Mark Shants, of Cambridge, Brian and Maxine Selles and great-grandchildren, Kira, Steven, Theresa and Dyllon of Winnipeg. He was very close to his sister and brother-in-law Trudy and Jack Kosten and their family Pat, Kerry, Kevin and Ian of Winnipeg. He leaves behind a sister Betsy Selles, Leni Cordes, Henk and Will Cordes and many nieces, nephews and cousins in Holland. He was a good husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend and will be sadly missed. In keeping with Alberts wishes there will be no formal service. Special thanks to the Doctor and staff at the Victoria General Hospital for their care and compassion.
