NYMPHA MARY WINTON (CRAIG) (nee SCHAFF) Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Nympha passed into the Hands of God on March 7, 2002 at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 86 years. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Claire (Garry) Sudol, Barry (Kathy) Winton and Richard (Patricia) Winton; grandchildren, Patty (Tom) Wickson, Lorne (Heather) Craig, Chris (Tiina) Winton, Tricia (Ken) Winton-Grey, Andrew Winton and Jeremy Winton; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Zachary and Carter Wickson, Marina, Devon and Mackenzie Craig, Dechlan Winton and Alastair Winton-Grey; brothers and sisters, Katie Villeneuve, John (Katherine) Schaff, Leo (Claire) Schaff, Steve (Lucy) Schaff, Helen Maurer, Liz Fenrick, Jack Schaff, Margaret (Jake) Therres; sisters-in-law Helen Schaff and Irene Schaff. Nympha was predeceased by her first husband Lorne Walter Craig in September 1944; husband Arthur Graham Winton in September 1991; beloved son Walter Lorne Craig in October 1985; siblings, Joe Schaff, Mary Kabon and Anton Schaff. Nympha was born in Lampman, SK and raised near Tisdale. She married Lorne in 1941 and became a war widow when Lorne was killed in action. She married Graham in 1947 and was widowed again in 1991. Nympha and Graham resided in Winnipeg from 1960 to 1979, then retired to Armstrong, BC. Following the death of Graham, Nympha moved to Oak Bank, MB, where she lived until her passing. Nympha was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is sadly missed by her family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 11 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church, Cooks Creek, MB. Her grandchildren are honoured to be her pallbearers. Funeral services in Kamloops, BC will be held on Friday, March 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Schoenings Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nymphas memory to CancerCare Manitoba, P.O. Box 2248, Station Main, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 9Z9. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
