LYDIA DELORME (nee WIRCHENKO) Peacefully, on March 8, 2002, at the Riverview Health Centre, Lydia Delorme passed away at the age of 75 years. Lydia was predeceased by her husband Samuel and one son Robert. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her only son Bill (Sharon). She also leaves to mourn, her two grandchildren, Sam and Meghan, four sisters, three brothers and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Lydia was born in Radisson, SK in April of 1926. Later she met Samuel and married in 1950 and having two children, Robert and Bill. After the loss of her husband Samuel, at the age of 49, Lydia began working at the St. Amant Centre in Winnipeg. She loved gardening, cooking and loved to watch hockey. After suffering a stroke, she spent her remaining years at the Riverview Health Centre. She will be sadly missed by her son Bill and wife Sharon and all who knew her. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 12 at 3:00 p.m. from the St. Adolphe Roman Catholic Church, St. Adolphe, MB with Fr. Pierre Dumaine M. Afr. officiating. Interment will be held in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lydias name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8.
